About me

biography

Nastassja Clarke has always been fascinated by the daily wonders of the visual world. This is no coincidence, as she was raised into a family of Gypsetters who inspired her to live life as a magnificent adventure and to remain authentically loyal to her vision and dreams.

Throughout her teenage years, photography and self expression with textiles became a full time habit and through this, she could express her blooming visions and inner growth to find a better understanding of herself and others.

Her strengths have always been closely aligned with the creative world, and shortly after completing her International Baccalaureate in Aix-en-Provence, she decided to go back to her roots in Melbourne, Australia and study Film and then the Art of Styling. Throughout this period, she was introduced to a whole new artistic sector, but she soon discovered that despite having a Cinematographic flair, her greatest talent was behind the lens of a photographic camera and in sourcing out original items and matching them up in the most original way.

Determined to succeed in both fields, she soon found herself back in Europe and chose Paris as a base to focus seriously on her greatest passions. After having held her first solo show in Paris in 2014, where she worked in the field of Fashion Photography and Styling, she then decided to find inspiration in a new environment. A spontaneous trip to Rome was all it took for her to discover the city’s ethereal beauty and light. She instantly fell in love with its essence which felt so familiar. It made perfect sense for her to call it home.

After having held various photographic exhibitions in Rome throughout the years, she was very thankful to show her latest collaborative work in the South of France in the summer of 2019.

She continues to live and work in Rome. You will mostly find her sourcing out items for her clients, capturing that odd shot and hunting down that unique piece that no one has in a vintage market… And of course Art still and will always be the essence of her life.
